Made in Alexandria, Egypt • Size of each Bath Towel - 70cm x 130cm • 100% Egyptian Cotton - Made in Egypt. • Machine Washable. • Superior quality - 600GSM* * The quality of towels is determined by the GSM (grams per square metre). Poor quality towels have a GSM of between 200 - 300. Superior quality towels have a GSM of between 400 and 600GSM.The more grams per square metre means that the towel is more absorbent and longer lasting. How to verify & calculate GSM Once the weight of a towel is known the GSM can easily be calculated. The weight of our Egyptian Cotton Towels are as follows; Hand - 277 grams per piece Bath Towel - 582 grams per piece Bath Sheet - 920 grams per piece The formula needed is as follows; Weight of the Towel (in grams) divided by the size (in cm) so for example for the bath towel; 582g --------- = 640gsm 70cm x 130cm Rounded down - 600gsm.
